Local Storage: Your resume text and job descriptions are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. This is solely for your convenience so you don't have to re-paste them every time you open the extension.
AI Processing: To provide ATS analysis and cover letter generation, the extension sends the text you provide (Resume and Job Description) to the Google Gemini API. This data is processed by Google to generate the requested analysis or text.
No Tracking: We do not use cookies, analytics, or any other tracking mechanisms to monitor your browsing behavior.
Permissions Usage
The extension requests the following permissions to function:
activeTab: Used to temporarily access the current page when you click "Auto-Extract" to find job descriptions or profiles.
storage: Used to save your drafted content locally on your machine.
scripting: Used to run the extraction logic on job boards to save you manual effort.
Third-Party Services
As mentioned, this extension utilizes the Google Gemini API for its core AI features. By using these features, you agree to Google's privacy terms regarding Generative AI usage. No other third-party services are integrated.
